l-Lysinium trifluoroacetate
Ions of the title compound, C(6)H(15)N(2)O(2) (+)·C(2)F(3)O(2) (-), a new organic nonlinear optical crystal, are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions. Both the amino groups of the l-lysinium cation are protonated. A three-dimensional network of hydrogen bonds is observed, forming a closed ring. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving l-lysinium cations and trifluoro-acetate ani...
متن کاملGrowth and Characterization of a New Organic Non-Linear Optical (NLO) Material: L-Histidinium Trifluoroacetate
A new organic nonlinear optical (NLO) material L-Histidinium trifluoroacetate was crystallized using LHistidine and trifluoroacetic acid in 1:1 stoichiometric ratio in water-ethanol medium. X-ray diffraction analysis of the single crystals showed that they belong to triclinic system, space group P1, with two molecules per unit cell. The lattice parameters are a = 5.1673(2) Å, b = 8.8393(3) Å, c...
متن کاملAmmonium Trifluoroacetate-Mediated Synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones
A simple and economic synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones using ammonium trifluoroacetate as catalyst and as solid support is accomplished. Easy workup procedure for the synthesis of title compounds is well arrived at and is well documented.
متن کاملDirect acetoxylation and etherification of anilides using phenyliodine bis(trifluoroacetate).
Treatment of various anilides with 1.5 equiv. of phenyliodine bis(trifluoroacetate) (PIFA) and 1.0 equiv. of BF(3)·OEt(2) in AcOH at room temperature afforded the corresponding para-acetoxylated products with high regioselectivity. In addition, this reaction could be expanded to the etherification of anilides. In the presence of 2.0 equiv. of PIFA and 2.0 equiv. of BF(3)·OEt(2), the reaction of...
